一、結(jié)構(gòu)
（一）主語+be+……
1.陳述句肯定式（肯定句）：主語+be（am, is, are）+……，其中be（am, is, are）用法口訣如下：
I是am；
you是are；
is連著he, she, it；
單數(shù)用is, 復數(shù)全用are。
2.陳述句否定式（否定句）：主語+be（am, is, are）not+……，其中am not沒有縮寫形式；is not縮寫為isn't；are not縮寫為aren't。
3.一般疑問句：Be（am, is, are）+主語+……？其中I am……的一般疑問句常常變?yōu)锳re you……? Yes，主語+be.（肯定回答） No,主語+be not.（否定回答）
主語+動詞（行為動詞，除了be）+…
主語（不是三單）+動詞（原形）+…
陳述句肯定式（肯定句）：主語（不是三單）+動詞（原形）+……
陳述句否定式（否定句）：主語（不是三單）+don't+動詞（原形）+……
一般疑問句：Do+主語（不是三單）+動詞（原形）+……？Yes，主語+do.（肯定回答）No，主語+don't.(否定回答）
主語（三單）+動詞（三單）+……
主語三單即主語的第三人稱單數(shù)形式；動詞三單即動詞的第三人稱單數(shù)形式。動詞三單的變化規(guī)則：
①一般情況下在動詞后加s。
②以s, x, sh, ch, o結(jié)尾的動詞在后面加es。
③以輔音字母+y結(jié)尾的動詞，把y變?yōu)閕，再加es。
* 例外的需要特殊記憶：be–is；have–has
陳述句肯定式（肯定句）：主語（三單）+動詞（三單）+……
陳述句否定式（否定句）：主語（三單）+doesn't+動詞（原形）+……
一般疑問句：Does+主語+動詞（原形）+……？Yes，主語+does.（肯定回答）No,主語+doesn't.（否定回答）
二、用法
1.表示經(jīng)常性的、習慣性的、反復發(fā)生的動作。常常和表示時間的頻率副詞often, always, usually, sometimes, never, every day等連用。如：I get up at six o'clock every day.
2.表示現(xiàn)在的狀態(tài)，也可以用一般現(xiàn)在時態(tài)。如：The library is on the right of the classroom building.
3.在由when, before, after，as soon as, until，if等引導的時間狀語從句或條件狀語從句中， 用一般現(xiàn)在時代替將來時。如：If it is cloudy tomorrow, we'll stay at home.
4.表示客觀事實或普遍真理，用一般現(xiàn)在時。如：The earth goes round the sun.
